Note: these are estimates only - weather, early storms, windy days etc all affect foliage.

Camping Blog | Hip Camp Camping Site Photographer

This blog is a little different, it’s personal because it’s about me and my family!

Camping in the mountains is an experience that fills the heart with immeasurable joy and creates everlasting memories. I am SO excited to share the delightful excursion my family embarked on in the midst of nature's splendor. While my two sons, husband and I are experienced campers - this trip was my sisters first time!

We chose a picturesque location amidst the magnificent mountains. With the help of Hipcamp, we discovered a hidden gem that promised not only a refreshing escape from the daily grind but also unparalleled scenery. The spot we selected was nestled in a serene valley, surrounded by towering pines and breathtaking vistas. Excitement mounted as we pitched our tents, creating a cozy home away from home.

Holiday Photos at Sugarhill Studio | Denver Family Photographer

A couple of weeks ago, I had the chance to photograph my brother and his fiancee as they celebrated their love for each other by taking a holiday mini session at Sugarhill Studio in Colorado.

The studio is located in an old barn with lots of character and rustic charm—it's a beautiful space that makes any photographer want to get out the camera. My brother and his fiancee were so much fun to work with, and we got some gorgeous shots of them looking so happy together!

They had a baby! Cassidy and Connor welcomed their new son into the world in September and I was lucky enough to be there to document this special time for them. I love photographing clients becoming parents of new babies. There are faces that you don't see every day, things left unsaid and special moments that only exist in stolen glances. It's always so fun to capture these tiny details with my camera!
